Capcom shared the first details tonight about the second demo of Resident Evil Village , the next chapter in the survival horror saga.
The title has already received a surprise demo tonight on the sidelines of the Resident Evil Showcase, an online appointment in which the Japanese developer revealed information such as the game’s release date and the existence of multiplayer Re: Verse .
The first demo, Maiden , has – as we told you – a basic gameplay, revealing something like a visual presentation of the atmosphere that we will find in the main product .
The second demo , however, will be much richer in content when it arrives in the spring and on all other platforms (while Maiden is only available on PS5).
From the dev team: “We created the MAIDEN demo as a surprise for PS5 players to show just how far we can push the PS5 to its limits- that’s why we’ve added ‘Visual Demo’ to the title. For those of you who are looking for a meatier gameplay demo… please stay tuned! ”

From the Twitter account of Capcom Dev 1, the unit that is developing the game, the Japanese team explained that «we created the demo Maiden as a surprise for PS5 players ».
The idea was “to show how far we can push PS5 to its limits – that’s why we added” Visual Demo “to the title”.
Anyway, «for those of you looking for a meatier gameplay demo … stay tuned!».
In this reference we therefore find the first details on the second demo of Resident Evil Village , which – contrary to Maiden – should have all the systems of the main game.
This means that inside it it should be possible to fight , with bare hands or with the rewritten weapon system (now customizable), and for the first time perform dodging .
The demo is due to launch close to day one of Village , which is currently scheduled for May.
If you want to prepare for the release of the next episode of the Capcom horror saga, we recommend that you get your hands on Resident Evil 7 .
