The wait for the release of Resident Evil Village , eighth chapter of the horror saga made in Capcom , is definitely skyrocketing.
Now, via social media, the Japanese company has confirmed the opening of the Resident Evil Portal , that is the new official website dedicated to the franchise , where you can find all the information, news and assets relating to Biohazard .

The Resident Evil Portal will contain the latest information on the Resident Evil series, where players can share their stats with others users of the world, as well as including an avalanche of special content for both newbies and veterans. Resident Evil Village is in any case expected both on PS4 and Xbox One and on the already announced PS5, Xbox versions Series X | S and PC. The release date of the new survival horror is scheduled for next May 7, 2020 .
Also during the recent Resident Evil Showcase a few days ago, Re: Verse was also announced, a new multiplayer title available for free to all owners of Village which features classic heroes and enemies of the franchise.
Finally, Capcom is also working on a remake of Resident Evil 4 , the fourth episode of the franchise originally released on Nintendo GameCube: the release date, however, seems to have been postponed (and by a lot) , thanks to a change of development team.
