Resident Evil Netflix canceled, Wesker throws a dig at the haters

Netflix has recently said no to a second season of its live action show dedicated to Resident Evil , above all due to a general quality level tending to fall.

Despite the success of games like Resident Evil Village (of which you can pre-order the Gold Edition at the guaranteed minimum price on Amazon ) the series has not put the critics and the public in agreement.

As also reported by PlayStation Lifestyle , over the weekend actor Lance Reddick took to Twitter to comment on the sad development of his series.

«As you all know by now, the Resident Evil show on Netflix has been canceled» , Reddick said in a video message.

« Despite the haters and the trolls , I want to thank in a special way all the fans who watched the show and who understood what we were doing, and who loved them, because siet and so many ».

The actor then thanked the show’s production and executive team , as well as his co-stars. A large number of Reddick fans responded by saying they appreciated his performance, but that the Resident Evil series left a lot to be desired .

The show only scored 55% on Rotten Tomatoes , although viewers were more severe than critics, awarding a score of 27% .
