And while the DLC is close to arriving, Capcom gives a little hint as to what we might expect in Resident Evil 9 .

Resident Evil Village Gold Edition , a new version of the game that also contains Winter’s Expansion , will be available from 28 October and, shortly before, there will be a special showcase from Capcom.

A event that does not yet have a precise date, although Capcom has unveiled on Twitter which will be placed just before the release.

Right in its latest tweet, Capcom unwittingly (?) dropped a clue about Resident Evil 9 :

Regardless of the contents of the showcase, it is already clear that the plot of Resident Evil 9 will not be tied in any way to the Winters family.

Ethan and Rose will then be characters that we will greet with Village and its next DLC . The same additional content that, on the other hand, forced Capcom to shrink the Junion lady Dimitrescu.

A DLC that was to be accompanied by a second extra content, cut, in which Chris Redfield was supposed to star.

Who knows if Resident Evil 9 will be in first or third person for example. A doubt on which Capcom has recently shed light, although we will have to wait for a confirmation.
