With Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Capcom has shifted away from the mold action of the latest episodes in the series to offer an experience that goes back to the origins of the series. The title,in fact, went from third to first person and promises to lose sleep over players from around the world. In a recent interview with Xbox: The Official Magazine, Hajime Horiuchi of Capcom has stated that the difficulty level was intentionally increased to try players a sense of tension and anxiety at every meeting with enemies.
