Resident Evil 4 Remake finally made its glorious debut on the market, but the experience of some players was not so glorious due to a glitch related to chapter 12 of the game.
Some console players (who bought the title on Amazon) had problems, but the PC version was no different.
Because of Denuvo, in fact, Resident Evil 4 Remake on PC isn’t exactly the best experience possible to live the Capcom remake.
This, and other problems, led the title to undergo the review bombing ritual on some versions of the game. And that’s not all.
Despite being the remake of a game from many years ago, from here on there will be spoilers on the events of Resident Evil 4 Remake. If you don’t want to spoil the surprise, we advise you not to continue reading.
In chapter 12 of Resident Evil 4 Remake players receive a key from the character Luis which, technically, is acquired at the end of chapter 11.
It is a fundamental object for the continuation of the game, and in some cases the key it is not delivered effectively blocking progression.
If you perform an action at the beginning of chapter 12, before seeing the notification that you have obtained Luis’s key on the screen, you will not receive it. Capcom specifically mentioned the knife attack as a trigger for the glitch.

Due to the fact that the key is not used immediately after having obtained it but, indeed, much later in the game, some players may notice it too late.
In fact, at the moment, the only way around the problem is to load a previous save, while Capcom announced that it will work to eliminate this problem.
Even with these problems, however, Resident Evil 4 Remake had a earning debut and managed to fight even on his own.
Speaking again of the game, Capcom wanted to remind us that the “The Mercenaries” mode is also on its way in the form of free DLC, currently not present in the remake.
