Resident Evil 4 Remake could be closer than expected, at least according to a bold teaser from Capcom on social media.
The Japanese house has just gotten out of the Resident Evil Village commitment but, apparently, it has no plans to slow down.
The Village itself will soon receive additional content, as announced at E3, although the exact timing for their launch is unclear.
A remake of Resident Evil 4 has been the subject of credible rumors for some time, even if they don’t give it on the launch pad anytime soon.

The Capcom teaser intercepted by fans is a tweet shared yesterday, in which a rather explicit reference is made to the canon of the saga.
First of all, the number 4 is placed at the top of the message, obviously the number of the “offending” chapter.
This is such an explicit teaser that one thinks that in reality there is something else at the center of sharing, but this has certainly not stopped fans from developing their theories.
«Itchy. Tasty » is instead a reference to the well-known diary found in Resident Evil 1 and since then cited in several chapters, including Resident Evil 7.
There could be three things, with the first clearly the Resident Evil 4 Remake already highly anticipated by fans.
The second could be a simple joke (a little out of place, in Gamescom times), the third the remake of the fourth episode for Oculus Quest.
With the Opening Night Live coming this week, many have made the connection a little too obvious, and who knows there isn’t an announcement on that occasion.
Again, it’s not to be ruled out that the teaser won’t lead to anything concrete or the VR makeover announced a few months ago.
An undoubtedly ambitious project, but not quite what Resident Evil lovers expect to see soon on their next-gen machines.
