Resident Evil 4 is playable early, but only on one console

The arrival of Resident Evil 4 Remake is just a few hours away, but for someone it will be even less: Xbox users.

Those who play on PS5, on the other hand, will have to wait for their copy on Amazon, or digitally, at the pre-established time and day.

In the meantime, they can continue to play with the Chainsaw Demo released a few weeks ago, which someone even managed to unlock in full.

And while players are browsing through the Chainsaw Demo in every possible way, also discovering secret weapons, it is now possible for someone to play them a day earlier.

As VGC reports, in fact, Xbox players can have access in advance to Resident Evil 4 and in a completely legal way.

Without subterfuge or weirdness of any kind, but only changing one setting: the region of origin in New Zealand.

Since it is now March 24 in the region, New Zealand players can download and play Capcom’s highly anticipated remake while users outside the country are left with a fistful of flies. p>

Unless they’re going to change the settings like this:

  • Sign in to your Xbox console.
  • Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
  • Select Settings > All Settings > System > Language & Location.
  • Select the new location from the Location list, then select Restart now.

Although Microsoft notes that not all content will be transferable between regions, many users have already reported that their pre-ordered copies of Resident Evil 4 worked during the transition to the New Zealand region.

In our review of the game, we explained to you that «the delicate operation – due to the importance of the game in question – succeeds perfectly and gives new light to a timeless masterpiece, which boasts numerous improvements and eliminates those out of place elements that have lost their polish over time“.

Semore staying on the subject, a decidedly reliable leaker regarding Capcom-branded projects has been exposed for a few days regarding the additional contents of the remake of Resident Evil 4.

But that’s not all: a diehard fan of Resident Evil 4 shared an impressive animated video of the horror title, created using LEGO bricks.
