Remedy enthusiastic about the arrival of the SSD on PS5 and Project Scarlett

In an interview with Gaming Bolt, Mikael Kasurinen and Brooke Maggs, Control’s director and narrative designer, expressed Remedy’s enthusiasm for the introduction of SSD on PS5 and Project Scarlett .

“You have an SSD that is fantastic because it solves several streaming problems that games tend to have”, explained the two of the Finnish software house.

“I hate those slow-moving elevators where you have to wait until a new part of the world finishes loading, or the strange tunnels you have to go through. Getting rid of this is good news for everyone.”

The developers also stated that “we all love the most powerful hardware. It allows us to do things that are visually creative and effective, and so on”.

The launch of PS5 and Project Scarlett is scheduled for the end of 2020, while for Control it will be necessary to wait only the end of August. It will last 15-20 hours.
