Today was a special day for all owners of Cyberpunk 2077 , who were burned – so to speak – by the large number of bugs and glitches in the console version.
CD Projekt has in fact officially apologized for the incident, promising refunds through a process implemented by the respective PlayStation and Xbox services. Apparently, however, there would be some problems.
In recent days, some Reddit users were able to receive refunds for their purchase of Cyberpunk 2077 , also managing to get by with customer support. Now, the main problem is that – as indicated in the tweet below – PSN doesn’t have a real refund system.
For this very reason, a significant number of players are seeing their request rejected by customer support.

The exact reason why some users were able to receive the refund over the weekend and others not is not clear: the letter published by CD Projekt RED does not explain in detail how to be compensated, nor exactly how the owners of digital copies would have been able to obtain such a refund.
We will keep you updated as soon as clarification arrives from both interested parties, namely PlayStation and CD Projekt, although the situation is certainly getting worse hour after hour.

Cyberpunk 2077 , developed by CD Projekt RED, is available for purchase on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google consoles Stadia since last December 19 of this year. Two new patches will arrive in January and February next year.
For now it is not known when the upgrades related to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S editions will be released, it is thought in the course of 2021.
