Red Dead Redemption 2 Gets More Violent and Realistic (Thanks to the Fans)

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game that certainly needs no introduction, so much so that the quintessential western multiplayer sandbox is loved by fans from all over the world.

The open world title set in the Far West (you can make it yours on Amazon ) has a really rich and unstoppable community on its side.

Recently, some Red Dead Redemption 2 fans discovered some really important cut content, although apparently didn’t end there .

Now, after AMD FSR 2.0 support recently made RDR2 a graphic gem, some modders have decided to further transform the game from a visual point of view.

As also reported by PC Games N , a new mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 makes Rockstar’s sandbox game much more violent and realistic , transforming hit reactions and death animations, adding some life to the Far West after the alleged “death” of Red Dead Online.

Simply titled ‘Flo’, the WickedHorseMan mod addresses a specific aspect – but very often frustrating – firefights in Red Dead Redemption 2 , where enemies, when hit and knocked down, quickly recover and get back on their feet.

It never made much sense that opponents could seemingly recover from a revolver shot and return to action as if nothing had happened, but Flo makes violence in RDR2 much more realistic by slowing down animations of shots and enemies on the ground, so that you can really see and feel their pain .

It’s not just human enemies who react more credibly to firearms: wounded animals also stagger for a longer time before falling to the ground, as does the player himself, which it means that a shotgun shot in the shoulder will leave you exposed to a final blow unless you are very careful.

Flo dramatically improves the very essence of shooting, making each fight slower, more brutal and cinematic . You can download it all for free now from Nexus Mods .

Staying on the subject, a really interesting mod released for Red Dead Redemption 2 has almost completely revised the system of laws in the game.

But that’s not all: Did you read that a RDR2 player with nearly 6,000 hours of gameplay on Google Stadia is begging Rockstar to allow the transfer of saves?
