The two reporters have revealed that “Sony is planning a PlayStation 5 game reveal event” and would already have the date, set exactly between one week.
It is not clear when this date would be formalized but the platform owner had recently updated the official PS5 page, which immediately gave the idea of news about the announcement.
Schreier added that plans could change rapidly due to COVID-19 but “this date is more solid than previous rumors”.

In the full article it is mentioned that it would be a first digital presentation of several scheduled during the course of the ‘summer. A Sony spokesman, contacted by Bloomberg , declined to comment.
After all, there was talk of a special State of Play appointment scheduled for August and this would appear in in line with previous rumors.
« Other events for PlayStation 5 could follow in the coming weeks and months, and Sony is not expected to reveal every essential detail on the console» on this occasion.
The first reveal would be primarily a «digital event to show games for its new generation PlayStation 5» , according to « people with direct knowledge of the matter “.
The State of Play could in fact be the ideal format for the presentation, and Sony has recently shown that it is particularly comfortable.
