It seems that Disney + is about to get a native PS5 application , which should allow 4K streaming.
DualSense pad owners (which you can also find on Amazon ) are not new to such apps, although in this case the news could herald the arrival of a new system update .
While waiting to find out what the next PS5 updates will be, the community has recently revealed which are the most requested features for the console.
If already in July the last update proved to be quite rich in news, what surprises it may not be over here.
As reported by The Gamer , PS5 has had a Disney + app available for download since launch, but it’s not without its problems.
Despite the presence of more powerful hardware, the app was not a native version strong> and was almost identical to the one released on PS4 .
This means that the PS5 version of the app does not allow streaming in 4K and limits playback to 1080p, despite being updated to show which movies and TV series can run at that resolution. p>
Native Disney + app for PS5 from GamingLeaksAndRumours
Now, according to what has been announced on the net, a native version of the Disney + app would be coming to PS5, as a beta version of the application has been uploaded to the PlayStation Network backend .
The code name of this version could be ‘ Vader ‘, which would recall the iconic character from the Star Wars saga (present, precisely, on Disney + in the form of films and TV series).
The native version of the PS5 app should therefore improve the quality of service on Sony’s current generation console, perhaps released in conjunction with a new system update.
Staying on the subject, Sony recently announced that it has removed a feature that is used very few times by players.
But that’s not all: the first PlayStation Plus game of August may have been unveiled days ago, which will be confirmed in the next few hours.
