Project Motor Racing reignites the GTR dream with a trailer

The world of racing driving simulations is about to welcome a new protagonist who promises to revive the experience of one of the titles most loved by GT racing fans. GIANTS Software has revealed new details on Project Motor Racing, a game that presents itself as a spiritual heir to GTR, the famous series that defined the standards of the simulation racing genre in past years. The title will arrive on the market on November 25th, with the ambition of bringing back to the track that combination of technical realism and competitive challenge that had won over fans of virtual motorsport.
One of the most important aspects of the project concerns the completely new physics engine, developed to render the behavior of the cars as faithful as possible to reality. The developers worked closely with official car manufacturers and hundreds of professional drivers to validate every single aspect of driving. The result is a simulation system that runs at 720 Hz, ensuring fluidity and precision in physics calculations that should result in detailed force feedback and extremely believable vehicle reactions.

On the content front, Project Motor Racing doesn’t skimp on variety. The fleet will include over 70 carefully reproduced cars, belonging to ten different racing categories: from the modern LMDh to the GT3, passing through the classic vintage racing cars that have written the history of motorsport. There will be 27 available tracks, all based on actually existing circuits and reconstructed through laser scanning technology, a method that allows every depression, bump and feature of the asphalt to be reproduced with millimeter precision.
The single player Career mode will not be limited to a simple progression of victories. The player will have to face the difficulties of professionalism in the world of racing, where the pressure is constant and every result counts to maintain one’s position in the paddock. It won’t be enough to win: you will have to manage your reputation and opportunities race after race, in a competitive environment that does not forgive mistakes.

The gaming experience will be enriched by a dynamic weather system and the alternating day-night cycle, elements that will add variability and unpredictability to each session on the track. Changing weather conditions and changing brightness will require virtual drivers to constantly adapt their driving style and racing strategies.
As for the technical requirements on PC, GIANTS Software has confirmed that you will need at least an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor, supported by 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 580 graphics card. The game will use the DirectX 12 API and will require 50GB of free disk space. The recommended configuration instead includes an Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3800, with 24GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 GPU.
IGN recently released a three-minute gameplay trailer that shows unretouched gameplay sequences, offering fans a concrete preview of the sound, graphics and driving physics. The video material allows you to get a precise idea of what to expect from this production which aims to win over both veterans of the simulation genre and new fans of realistic virtual racing.
