As you will already know, Prey’s demo for Sony Playstation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One has been available for a few days on their respective digital stores. The Digital Foundry guys could not help but make a comparison between the two versions, which you can see as usual from the underlying player or directly on YouTube following the link at the bottom.
The title goes to 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One at a frame rate of 30 fps, though there are some drops on the Microsoft console. However, the Sony version suffers from input lag, a problem that developers are already aware of which we hope will be solved in the final version. In addition, even long booties on PS4 last longer on Xbox One.
Recall that Prey will be launched next May 5 for Windows PCs.
