The Pokà © mon Company and its partners of Legendary Entertainment have unveiled the official name and logo (in English) of the first ever Pokémon action movie: Pokà © mon Detective Pikachu.

Mr. Tsunekazu Ishihara, president of The Pokà © mon Company, has invited the director of the film Rob Letterman and the actors Justice Smith and Kathryn Newton to the stage at the World Championships in Pokà © mon for these surprise previews.

The cast also directed the onlookers, including numerous Pokà © mon players at the top of the world rankings, in a chorus of “Pikachu!” which was recorded for use in the film that will debut in theaters on May 10, 2019.

The first details about the film and the partnership with Legendary Entertainment were leaked in July.
