Sony Interactive has just announced a new PlayStation Swocase 2021 , which will take place next week, more precisely Thursday 9 September, at 10pm Italian time .

During the event, some new releases will be shown on the console that hosted titles such as Returnal , including upcoming releases between the holidays of the end of the year and the first months of next year.

On the PlayStation Blog, Senior Director and SIE Content Communication Sid Shuman spoke to the community: «You have been terribly patient, and we thank you for that. And now we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on. “

The Showcase will last approximately 40 minutes and will include updates from PlayStation Studios and some of the most imaginative developers in the industry, for games coming out during the holidays and beyond .

Shuman further stated: “Please stay around after the presentation to get further updates from some of the studio teams featured in the Showcase.”

It also seems confirmed that the next generation of PlayStation VR will not make an appearance at the event. Apparently, games coming to PS5 from development teams big and small will be shown during the showcase.
