PlayStation Plus turns 15 and Sony has decided to celebrate this important milestone with a series of initiatives that will accompany the players throughout the summer.
To thank the millions of subscribers who have supported this long adventure, Sony has several summer initiatives. But we already start with an important gift: the monthly games of July, available from 1 July to 4 August, are among the most interesting of the last few months.
Diablo IV (PS5, PS4) The diamond tip of the month is Diablo IV, Action RPG Next-Gen signed Blizzard, set in a dark fantasy world populated by demons, infernal dungeons and colossal bosses.
The King of Fighters XV (PS5, PS4) for fans of the fighting game, The King of Fighters XV represents the dream of every fan: 39 fighters, between great returns and new arrivals, which face each other in the classic 3 against 3 format.
Jusant (PS5) completely different but equally fascinating is Jusant, a meditative experience halfway between platform and puzzle game, where the protagonist faces a lonely rise on a mysterious tower.
The celebrations begin in these days with a rich proposal of content, free tests, tournaments and exclusive discounts, designed to thank the millions of subscribers who have accompanied the evolution of the service since 2010.
From today, PS Plus Premium users can try WWE 2K25 thanks to a limited time test. The most recent chapter of the famous Wrestling series, launched last March, offers a more finished experience than ever, with a full -bodied roster and full content methods.
That’s not all: starting from 30 June a trial for Monster Hunter Wilds will also be available, Capcom’s new action RPG that promises spectacular hunts and a vast and dynamic world to explore.
From 27 to 29 June, all PS Plus members will be able to access exclusive discounts on some unmissable titles of the PlayStation Store. Among the offers stand out Sniper Elite: Resistance, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII and Star Wars Outlaws, for a weekend of savings and variety.
Also from today, all subscribers to PlayStation Plus will be able to redeem a PS Plus Pack Valorant free of charge containing exclusive cosmetic objects: two Gun Buddy “Prelude to Chaos”, a “Kohaku & Matsuba” player card, two spray (“imperium” and “Chronovoid”) and 10 Radianite Points. None of these objects alters the gameplay, but everyone adds a touch of style in the game.
The PlayStation Plus 15th Anniversary Cup also starts on June 28, a special tournament accessible via the personalized tournament cards or directly from the game menu. Participants can challenge themselves in titles such as EA Sports FC, NBA 2K, UFC, Madden NFL, College Football, Tekken 8 and others, with the possibility of winning virtual currency, exclusive avatar for PSN and credits for the Sony Pictures Core catalog.
Finally, all players – even those not subscriber to PlayStation Plus, which you can make yours on Amazon) – will be able to play online for free on 28 and 29 June. From 00:01 on Saturday until 11:59 pm on Sunday (local time), it will be possible to participate in multiplayer match on any title that supports it.
In short, the 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus is the perfect opportunity to rediscover the value of the subscription, taking advantage of new content and living unique experiences, whether they have competitive games, discounted films or free tests of the most anticipated games of the year.
