PlayStation Plus, September games announced

Sony unveiled the lineup of new arrivals on PlayStation Plus in September , which has now arrived and is about to retire in the summer of 2021.

PlayStation Plus is the subscription service of the Japanese company, which allows you to take home games every month, cloud space for saves and online multiplayer.

The August games will be available for some time yet and include, among others, an ambitious new battle royale.

A rather popular name was circulating for those of September, but this new entry has been categorically denied.

The new PlayStation Plus entries in September will be:

  • Overcooked All You Can Eat
  • Hitman 2
  • Predator Hunting Grounds

Overcook All You Can Eat is a remastered collection with 4K graphics at 60fps of the two original chapters of the local competitive series.

Hitman 2 is the second episode of IO Interactive’s stealth series, and can easily transform into a PS5 game from since it’s accessible via Hitman 3 for that console (just the free starter pack).

Finally,

Predator Hunting Grounds is a competitive multiplayer from Illfonic, the developer of Friday The 13th , as well as an exclusive PlayStation console.

As usual, these are three titles introduced for the first time on Sony’s subscription service for its consoles.

Two are for PlayStation 4 , which can also be used on PlayStation 5 thanks to backward compatibility, while one is native to PS5.

It is worth noting that Overcooked All You Can Eat is also available on PS4 but the PlayStation Plus subscription will unfortunately cover only the next-gen version.

For the availability of this trio we will have to wait until next Tuesday 7 September, and they will remain redeemable until Monday 4 October.

This means that the September 3 will be available to subscribers until Monday 6 September included.

What is about to close has been a particular month from the technical point of view of the service, with a bug that has often undermined the ability of subscribers to redeem the available titles.

We also received news of a slight decline in subscribers in Sony’s last fiscal quarter.

It could also be for this reason that the Japanese platform owner is thinking of a Premium and more tempting version of the service.
