The PlayStation Plus catalog for November is enriched with three titles that range from feline adventures in a cyberpunk world to the most realistic rally races, up to the most absurd battles ever seen in a video game. From November 4 to December 1, subscribers to the service will be able to download Stray, EA Sports WRC 24 and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator for free, three completely different video game experiences that promise to satisfy very varied tastes.
The flagship game is certainly EA Sports WRC 24, the latest incarnation of the historic rally series by Codemasters. The developers, famous for creating the acclaimed Dirt Rally series, bring the official game of the FIA World Rally Championship to PlayStation 5 with obsessive attention to detail. The title includes cars from the 2024 season in the WRC, WRC2 and Junior WRC categories, complete with drivers, teams and official liveries.
Particularly interesting is the new Builder mode, which makes its debut allowing players to design and drive the rally car of their dreams. The Moments mode, on the other hand, offers a journey through the history of the rally, with the possibility of reliving recent events and iconic historical moments. The experience is completed with Career, Championship, Time Trial, cross-platform multiplayer, Regularity Rally and a detailed livery editor modes, thus building what is the most complete WRC package ever created, drawing on over 25 years of Codemasters experience in the genre.
Very different is the approach of Stray, the third-person adventure developed by BlueTwelve Studio, a small team from the south of France which ironically describes itself as being made up mainly of cats and a handful of humans. The game puts players in the shoes of a lost, injured, and alone stray cat who must solve an ancient mystery to escape a city that time forgot.
The setting is one of the most fascinating elements: neon alleys of a decaying cybercity and dark environments in the most infamous slums of the metropolis. The title allows you to see the world through the eyes of a feline, interacting with the environment in playful ways characteristic of cat behavior. The attention to detail in the neon lighting and cyberpunk atmosphere creates a suggestive contrast with the instinctive and curious nature of the four-legged protagonist.
For those looking for something completely different, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator offers a bizarre and fun experience. The most imprecise battle simulator ever created lets you command armies of ramshackle warriors from ancient lands, spooky places and fantasy worlds. Completely unstable and deliberately awkward physics are at the heart of the game, creating hilarious situations during battles.
The title offers over 100 different units, but when even these are no longer enough, players can create new ones through the integrated editor. The online multiplayer component also allows you to pit your wonky warriors against friends or random opponents, adding a competitive dimension to the absurdity of the battles. Available on both PS4 and PS5, like Stray, it guarantees hours of unconventional fun.
PlayStation Plus subscribers have until November 3rd to add October’s titles to their library: Alan Wake 2, Goat Simulator 3 and Cocoon. Once downloaded, the games remain accessible as long as the subscription remains active, allowing you to build an increasingly rich digital collection over time at no additional cost.
