PlayStation Plus, announced the free games of April 2023

PlayStation Plus is also updated in April with new free games and, as has been rumored for a few days, the selection has an imposing name .

The free games, which are available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, are available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers, even in the new subscription dimension.

Even March was absolutely no less, because the selection of free games was truly remarkable.

This time there was no leak but, contrary to usual, a preventive confirmation has arrived from Sony about the upcoming free games.

The free games of April 2023 are:

  • Sackboy: A Big Adventure (PS4 and PS5)
  • Meet Your Maker (PS4 and PS5)
  • Tails of Iron (PS4 and PS5)

As always, the announcement came from the PlayStation Blog, which illustrates the free titles available for the next month that can be redeemed on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 for all subscribers.

These titles will be available to PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium subscribers from Tuesday 4th April to 1st May. The catalog lineup of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games for April will be revealed later this month.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will have until Monday 3rd April to add Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons and Code Vein to their game library.

To be able to enjoy these free games you need at least an Essential subscription, but they are also included in Extra and Premium. When in doubt, here’s what free games are added at each membership level.

For a examination of the various subscription tiers, we advise you to consult our price guide for the new version of Sony’s premium service.

We also remind you that you can redeem PS5 games even without owning the console: here’s how you have to do it.
