Sony has announced the lineup of new games coming to PlayStation Now in July , which includes a great exclusive and more.
There are seven new entries this month, including Rockstar Games’ acclaimed open world western, Red Dead Redemption 2.
The Japanese company thus closes the circle with the monthly refresh of its services, after having communicated the inputs of PlayStation Plus.
New games can be played at the maximum resolution of 1080p, after the recent upgrade of the streaming platform.
The PlayStation Now news for the month of July are very substantial, as announced today on the official blog of the Japanese label.
What makes noise, in particular, is the finally indefinite entry of God of War , one of the great PlayStation exclusives of the last generation.
But not only Kratos and Atreus this time, here’s the full list of new arrivals:
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Nioh 2
- Moving Out
- God of War
- Olympic Games Tokyo 2020
- Nascar Heat 5
As usual, some titles on the list have expiration dates set out well in advance, while others don’t.
In the case of Red Dead Redemption 2 , the game can be played until November 1, 2021 and only in download on PS4 / PS5.
Nioh 2, Moving Out, God of War, Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 and Nascar Heat 5 have no deadlines, while Judgment will say goodbye on 4 October 2021.
This means that PC users will not be able to take advantage of the inclusion of Red Dead Redemption 2, as streaming will not be supported.
Too bad when you consider the huge popularity of PlayStation Now on the platform, with a beloved PS4 exclusive in particular, Bloodborne .
Curiously, even on Xbox Game Pass – where it arrived in Story Mode in 2020 before it was removed – it was not playable via cloud gaming, so it could be a Rockstar Games diktat.
A second good month in a row, anyway, for PlayStation Now, after a big RPG arrived in June.
