PS5 has been available (more or less) in stores for about a year, a time that gamers have come to appreciate thanks to the release of PlayStation titles plus or not worthy of attention.
Whether it’s the new Horizon , Returnal or Deathloop , users all over the world are certainly not left with their hands on their hands. .
After all, tonight will be the turn of a new State of Play, something that will surely send fans in awe about the new titles coming out.
Now, however, as reported on ResetEra it seems that someone is not convinced of the success of PlayStation: his name is Michael Pachter .
The well-known analyst said that PlayStation is done for and will stop exist , at least in the form we all know, and the stop will take place no later than the next 10 years .
I think PlaySation is doomed and I think they will cease to exist as we know them in about ten years.
They can’t compete. They have no chance to compete. I’m not just a couple of years behind, [Xbox’s, ed.] is an insurmountable advantage .
Obviously, Pachter brings up the “rivalry” between PlayStation and Microsoft / Xbox, taking into account that thanks to a service like Game Pass the House of Redmond has gained a lot of land over time.
The analyst, however, perhaps forgets that soon we will be able to know the fate of PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now , which should now merge into the alleged Spartacus .
Pachter also recently talked about GTA 6 , revealing that the new chapter will be really huge and with dizzying longevity.
We also remember that PlayStation seems to want to continue to offer a large number of titles at a very discounted price, given that today it is the turn of offers on about 1500 products on the store.
If you want to buy a PlayStation exclusive available only on consoles, The Last of Us Part II is now at a discounted price on Amazon.
