20th Century Fox announced that its iconic Planet of the Apes film franchise will receive a game for Virtual Reality called Crisis on the Planet of the Apes.

According to the company, the title will cost $ 14.99 and will be launched for the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and PlayStation 4 via PSVR on April 3rd. Set between the films “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” and “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”, Crisis on the Planet of the Apes will allow players to explore the world of igoco from the point of view of a monkey held captive by the human beings, with the aim of escaping from their research structure.

But not only: in addition to being the first VR game for the Planet of the Apes franchise, Crisis on the Planet of the Apes will also be the first Virtual Reality title developed by Foxnext VR Studio, a subsidiary of the Foxnext digital content division of the 20th Century Fox dedicated to creating games in VR.
