The genre of difficult games at any cost has its own large group of enthusiasts, who love to be challenged and put to the test by the videogame experiences they face. And, as we told you in our video review, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty also definitely falls into this vein.
The recent action RPG and soulslike signed by Team Ninja, in its own way heir to the game scheme of NiOh, does not make too many discounts especially in its initial stages, when puts you in front of a truly formidable opponent – to the point that it could represent a stumbling block for many players.
Which it is, in fact, in the making. According to the data put together by the site TrueAchievements, taking as a reference the Achievements obtained by players on Xbox, about 1 player in 3 (33%) on Microsoft consoles managed to overcome the first boss battle. Two out of three, on the other hand, remained stuck there, at least for now.
It is true that Wo Long on Xbox also boasts a number of players not exactly related to the genre, who approached and downloaded and tried it because it was launched within Game Pass (to which you can subscribe on Amazon). In fact, looking at the corresponding Trophies or Achievements on PlayStation or Steam, it emerges that around 85% of users have passed the initial boss – in short, demonstrating that those who bought the game at full price knew what they were buying (or at least did not intend to abandon it at the first rock after the money invested).
In short, if players who don’t feel intrigued by being challenged download the game and try it, strong enough not to have to pay for it, they fall within the user base of Wo Long and – plausibly – in the statistics of those who will not pass the first boss.
If you are not too afraid of challenges, we remind you that on our pages we are proposing targeted guides for different aspects of the game: getting a hand is never dishonorable, so take a look and get ready to leave for the next challenges.
