Oculus, the last founder leaves the company of virtual reality

Nate Michell, the last founder of the company, announced the farewell to Oculus .

This is the end of a seven-year long adventure, which closes the era born with the $ 250,000 kickstarter (or at least the bar was initially there) that gave the sector to the virtual reality.

“When we posted the kickstarter in 2012, VR was almost science fiction stuff” , he explained in a post on the topic, shared by Reddit, Michell.

“We didn’t know if people would take us seriously,” which happened when we consider the progress of Oculus but also the arrival in the segment of other players, including PlayStation.

The co-founder, with Palmer Luckey among others who had long since left the company controlled by Facebook, said that he would take time to “travel, stay with the family and recharge the batteries” .
