On their official forums, Obsidian Entertainment has stated that there will be no microtransactions in his new game.

The title is now in the works at the creators of Fallout New Vegas and it was announced as part of the presentation of Private Division, publishing label of Take-Two Interactive paid to independent developers.

Take-Two Interactive (and its 2 k Games and Rockstar Games) has a long history of usingmicrotransactions more or less discussed in its catalog, and just recently had confirmed their intention to continue to take advantage of this business model in the future.

Obviously, this does not apply to Private Division and therefore the games released through this label.

The same label will bring finally the long awaited production of Ancestors, creator of the first Assassin’s Creed.
