Square Enix is currently working on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, a title widely awaited by fans of the seventh chapter , who can now also celebrate the first real Final Fantasy VII Day.
The sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake (you can find Intergrade at a great discount on Amazon) is in fact just one of the games dedicated to the storyline of the seventh chapter of the saga.
If in recent weeks it seemed almost certain that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth would show up again no later than the end of December 2022, it seems that fans need to be patient.
As also reported by The Gamer, Japanese players can now score on calendar the official day dedicated to Final Fantasy VII, and, among other things, falls today.
Many video game anniversaries are celebrated every year, but few have a real official day to celebrate it: Final Fantasy VII since Square Enix officially recorded January 31 as a day dedicated to the most iconic chapter of the JRPG series.
Square Enix shared the news via its official social account, including a photo of the certificate which confirms that January 31 is the official day of celebration, while another photo shows Yoshinori Kitase holding the document.
«January 31, 1997, the release day of FFVII, was not only a significant day for the Final Fantasy series, but it also marked the moment in which many important things started moving for those of us who worked on the game», wrote Kitase in a statement.

Remaining on the subject, months ago it was confirmed that it will not be mandatory to have played the previous chapter to better enjoy Rebirth: Square Enix has in fact promised that the new chapter can also be played like your first FF.
But that’s not all: a possible remaster or remake of Final Fantasy IX would be on the way, according to an interesting leak, as well as future projects in development.
