> The Xbox response to the news today that PlayStation 5 will not be compatible with the DualShock 4 was not long in coming.
Microsoft has signed his entire next generation on the fact that Xbox Series X will be backwards compatible with a huge catalog of old and new games, and especially with the controllers already in use by users.
With today’s move, however, Sony has done nothing but reiterate its belief in the concept of generations and thus want to draw a clear line between the last two PlayStations.
From the English division of Xbox they did not fail to underline this difference in the afternoon, reminding all gamers that Xbox Series X will work with all Xbox One controllers and on all games.
These include the official Xbox controllers, the Xbox Adaptive Controllers, the Elite controllers (including the second one released a few months ago) and the SCUF controllers.

A clarification perhaps not exactly in the name of fair play on which Phil Spencer and his team have focused their communication in recent years, but certainly effective and with good timing.
The news regarding the PS4 controllers that will not work on PlayStation 5 is instead negative for all fans, especially after some rumors had deluded them of the contrary.
It is not the case to expect sudden changes of scene, since Sony’s strategy seems quite clear for the next- gen, but magar i might find out more at this week’s State of Play.
PlayStation 5 already has its pages on Amazon Italy: find at this address the future pre-orders for the standard edition, while here you can see the Digital Edition .
