Nintendo Switch: Many games will not support cloud saves

Nintendo is planning details for its paid online platform on Switch, including details on saving cloud games.

Although Grande N had previously stated that all games would support the system, it has now become clear that different titles will not allow it.

Among these, there would seem to be Pokà © mon Let’s Go Eevee & amp; Pikachu and Splatoon 2, as well as Dark Souls Remastered, Dead Cells, FIFA 19 and NBA 2K19.

Nintendo recently responded to the Game Informer portal to clarify once and for all the question:

“The overwhelming majority of Nintendo Switch games will support the backup of the Save Data Cloud, however, in some games this feature would allow, for example, to retrieve items that have been exchanged with other players, or to return to a higher online multiplayer ranking. To ensure fair play, the backup of the Save Data Cloud may not be enabled for such games. To ensure that saves are not used to unfairly influence online multiplayer rankings, the feature will not be enabled in Splatoon 2. “

Have you already read in any case that Switch has exceeded the five million units sold in Japan?

What do you think?
