Nintendo France has no doubts and has announced that FIFA 18 has had positive commercial feedback on Nintendo Switch, which is why it is reasonable to expect announcements of new EA videogames on the platform in the future.
This was reported by Philippe Lavoué, general manager of the big N division, who also defined FIFA 18 as a sort of first test spot for the console, which EA wanted to evaluate before investing heavily in sums.
The Nintendo executive also reveals that, in France, this version of FIFA 18 sold 73,000 copies “- a figure that should double, according to his calculations, with the upcoming World Championships in Russia 2018.
We remind you that right now FIFA 18 is 50% on Nintendo eShop. It is also worth mentioning that football in Japan was more successful on Switch than on PS4.
We look forward to finding out if EA will sooner or later spread the official global numbers of its football on the Nintendo Hybrid.
