The quarrel continues with Nintendo and Netflix protagonists. The object of the dispute is of course Nintendo Switch, to date still without a dedicated application.
The president of Nintendo of America explained during E3 2018 that “for this kind of questions, you must address the guys at Netflix”.
A statement that seems even a step back from the previous ones, in which there was talk of an exploratory phase aimed at bringing the entertainment app to the hybrid console.
“We told the Nintendo Switch launch that we wanted a gaming-first platform and that’s what we created,” commented Reggie Fils-Aimà ©.
“Right now we have Hulu on the platform, we said that other services will come at the right time for us, we want to be sure to continue to grow the installed base, continue to have great games for the platform.”
Not a good sign, but at least the ball is now in the half-field of Netflix.
