Mario is ready to return to the big screen: to reveal is The Wall Street Journal, which on its pages reports of a deal between Nintendo and the film giant Universal to produce a new animated movie dedicated to (ex) Italian plumber most famous in history.

Universal has huge experience in the field of animated film, being an author, among others, the series Minions and Shrek. As for Mario,the last theatrical release dates back to the now distant and not really memorable film arrived in 1993, remained in the imagination of many as a masterpiece of trash.

Nintendo and Universal, the colleagues of the British website Eurogamer.net, cooperate already outside the cinema, since the latter will host several themed attractions Nintendo Land in three of their playgrounds.
