The mid-October gaming scene is preparing to welcome a wave of new features ranging from revisited classics to the most innovative productions. Microsoft has revealed the arrival of several titles on Game Pass, with a mix that includes management simulators, narrative adventures and fast-paced action. The platform continues its strategy of diversifying its offering, focusing both on day-ones and on the returns of historic franchises.
Among the most significant additions stand out the Enhanced Editions of Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II, which from October 9th will enrich the Game Pass PC catalog. These titles represent over 100 hours of RPG adventure, where every choice can change the course of the story. The bioware series thus returns to the disposal of a new generation of players, keeping intact the charm that made it legendary.
On October 21st it will be the turn of Ninja Gaiden 4, available from day one for subscribers. The franchise that defined the standards of hack and slash returns with a new chapter that promises to combine the series’ historical legacy with innovative mechanics and high-intensity combat.
Among the most original proposals is BALL x PIT, a peculiar mix between brick-breaking and survival roguelite which arrives on October 15th. The title combines elements of base building with fighting against hordes of enemies, using bouncy balls as the main weapon. Also on the same date, The Grinch: Christmas Adventures brings a festive touch with a platformer that reinterprets the famous Dr. Seuss character.
Keeper appears particularly interesting, arriving on October 17th from Lee Petty and Double Fine Productions. This narrative adventure stands out for being told entirely without words, following the events of a forgotten lighthouse who awakens and embarks on an unexpected journey accompanied by a seabird.
Simulation enthusiasts will already be able to dive into Supermarket Simulator, available from today on all Game Pass platforms. The title allows you to manage every aspect of a supermarket, from the arrangement of products on the shelves to the management of staff, up to the fight against shoplifters.
For those looking for more social experiences, Pax Dei arrives on October 16, a sandbox MMO set in a medieval era where myths and magic are tangible realities. The game focuses on building a virtual community where thousands of players can interact, build and create their own stories.
While new titles make their entrance, others are preparing to leave the service on October 15th. COCOON and Core Keeper, two of the most popular additions of the past few months, will leave the catalog together with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed. Interested subscribers will be able to purchase them with a discount of up to 20% to continue playing even after removal from the service.
The mid-October update confirms Microsoft’s strategy of keeping the Game Pass in constant evolution, balancing the arrival of brand new features with the recovery of classics and the rotation of available content.
