Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida briefly attended the Summer Game Fest Kickoff event to present a new soulslike.

The game is on the launch pad only on PS5 and PS4 , continuing the tradition of the genre on PlayStation consoles such as Bloodborne .

The title is Salt and Sacrifice , a sequel to Ska Studios’ beloved IP Salt and Sanctuary .

For those unfamiliar with it, the game is a two-dimensional Bloodborne gothic soulslike game where you can select from multiple classes and battle with a combat system punitive (to say the least).

The launch is scheduled for 2022 only on the platforms of the Japanese company.

Among the novelties compared to the first chapter we have, in addition to the improvements of the case on the graphics, also a local and online co-op mode.

Other platforms are currently exclusive, including the PC, the device on which the original was published via Steam.
