New former Ubisoft veterans join Google for Stadia

Google does not intend to stop investing in Stadia , of course: after the launch of the past few days, we learn today from colleagues on the site VGC that the team working on the cloud platform can now count on several new industry veterans .

The first of these new faces is that of Sébastien Puel , hired as General Director of the Google studio – while previously he served as executive producer of Assassin’s Creed for ten years. With him also Fracois Pelland , head of production for Google, who was previously a manager at Ubisoft Quebec and served as a producer for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and senior producer for Assassin’s Creed III .

The arrival in Google of Mathieu Leduc as art director, after it was already confirmed in Assassin’s Creed II , Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2 .

As you may recall, the team already counts on other veterans : while Stadia is in the hands of Phil Harrison , the development team has been assigned to the vice president Jade Raymond – also formerly of Ubisoft, as well as former of Electronic Arts.
