Just a few hours ago we informed you that David Ballard, former multiplayer level environment artist and layout artist for Naughty Dog, said via Twitter of being sexually molested in 2015 within the company.

Ballard has worked on several chapters of the saga of Uncharted, beyond even The Last Of Us, until the termination of employment in 2016.

Now, came the official replica of Naughty Dog, through the siteofficer of the company:

“Recently we read about social media that a former employee of Naughty Dog, Dave Ballard, says he was sexually molested when he worked at Headquarters. We did not find any proof that he has received complaints from Mr. Ballard to Naughty Dog or Sony Interactive Entertainment. Bullying and inappropriate behaviour have no place in Naughty Dog and Sony Interactive Entertainment. We took and we will always very serious cases ofsexual harassment and other unwelcome activities in the workplace. We evaluate every single person who works at Naughty Dog and Sony Interactive Entertainment. Is crucial for us to maintain a safe and productive work environment that allows us to share our common passion for game creation. “

An answer parched and peremptory that leaves no room for additional comments. It remains to be seen if Ballard decides to take the matter to court. Staywith us for any updates on this issue.
