Microsoft wishes Sony to launch PS5: “players first” [Updated]

Update 17.14: Greetings from the official Xbox account, which has tagged the PlayStation one, have also arrived on Twitter, attaching an image in which it openly mentions “Sony” .

The tweet was picked up by Phil Spencer who extended congratulations to Jim Ryan (president and CEO of SIE), Shuhei Yoshida, Mark Cerny (system architect of PS5), Hermen Hulst (head of PlayStation Studios) and Ted Price (founder of Insomniac Games) and «the entire Sony PlayStation team to launch PS5. A great result during these difficult times ».

Hulst thanked Spencer pointing out «what a great week for gamers around the world. We hope both our consoles and our games bring joy to people during these difficult times. “

Original article: Microsoft congratulated Sony on the launch of the PS5, which is celebrated today November 12 in various territories, such as the United States and Japan.

On the day of the new PlayStation’s debut, Aaron Greenberg – general manager of Xbox game marketing – shared a tweet tagging and mentioning not only the team behind the Japanese console but also some of his colleagues.

« I wish all my friends on PlayStation (Shuhei Yoshida, Eric Lempel, and the team) the best for their big launch,” reads the tweet .

« No matter where you play , I love how it unites us, brings us so much joy, and connects us all around the world” , added Greenberg, closing with the ‘hashtag #GamersFirst, “players first”.

Shuhei Yoshida, head of Sony’s indies and historical face of PlayStation, thanked for the «great message» after exhibiting an Xbox Series X just purchased in a photo shared on social media these days.

Even PlayStation had wished Microsoft a good launch for its next-gen console, first with a funny gif, then through the tweets of Hermen Hulst (leader of PlayStation Studios) and Yoshida himself.

Wishes that evidently led well to Xbox Series X, which had the biggest launch in Xbox history on November 10th.

In Italy, however, we will have to wait another week, since the day one of the Sony console will be celebrated in Europe and Italy only on Thursday 19 November.

If you want to get ready for possible new PlayStation 5 stocks, we recommend that you keep an eye on the console page on Amazon.
