In view of the Xbox One X, Microsoft has confirmed today the arrival of a total redesign of the Xbox Live Avatar, which will make their debut on the family of current-gen console.

Launched on the Xbox 360, the avatars have always been seen as the Colossus of Redmond’s response to Nintendo’s Mii, looking similarly cartoon imbroglio and light-hearted.

With the redesign, which you can study in the video below, Microsoft has opted for a more modern look andmature, presumably to embrace Xbox One-the whole family starting with the cheapest Xbox One S to get to “hardcore” Xbox One X.
