Metal Gear Solid continues to be at the top of the wishes of fans around the world, so much so that an indiscretion has now emerged that – if confirmed – will delight fans of the saga, as well as those of another prestigious Konami franchise, namely Castlevania.
The Hideo Kojima series, whose epilogue can be found on Amazon, is one of the most desired returns of all time, although at the time of writing there are no are concrete news in this regard.
After the rumors about a new MGS continue to fly, Andy Robinson of VGC has now released a rumor that, if confirmed, would really very interesting.
It is also true that a few days ago Konami registered a trademark that could be linked to Castlevania, according to fans who have analyzed the patent. Now, however, the news could arrive during next summer.
As reported on Reddit, VGC‘s Andy Robinson said on his podcast that he heard Konami might be looking to have a big summer showcase at E3 2023 in June (unless it’s unexpectedly cancelled).
The Japanese developer who is planning to present is a new main chapter of Castlevania together with the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater, which has been talked about for some time.
It should be noted that Konami itself has not announced that it is working on either franchise, although it was also disclosed in Robinson’s podcast that the MGS3 remake will be “sort of test bed” for a new chapter of the series, although it is unlikely that Hideo Kojima will be involved in any way.
