CI Games developers have displaced the community by publishing the system requirements for Lords of the Fallen 2 well in advance, despite the sequel to the Action RPG Fantasy is not expected before 2026.
An unusual announcement, which came through the Epic Games Store page, which however reports still generic specifications and without crucial details such as target resolution, frame rate or graphic presets.
The minimum configurations indicate Windows 11 with Intel I5 8400 CPU or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 12 GB of RAM and NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700. For the recommended requirements you go up to an i7 8700 or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB of memory and high -end video cards such as RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT.
The game will once again take advantage of the Unreal Engine 5, but with a clear goal: to eliminate the Stuttering problems that had made turbulent the launch of the first chapter. In fact, the developers aim to use the latest versions of the engine to ensure greater fluidity and stability.
On the narrative level, Lords of the Fallen 2 continues several centuries after the original events. Umbral’s dark kingdom is invading the world of living, Axiom, and players will once again face threats on two parallel floors. The mechanics of the dual worlds, a trademark of the franchise, will therefore remain central in the experience.
Games also promised to have collected fans’ feedback, introducing new features and a more balanced combat system. Improvements that had already been partially anticipated with version 2.0 of the first chapter, a sign of the will of the study to build a sequel capable of satisfying the requests of the community.
The ambitions, moreover, are not lacking: the developers compare the project to one moment to the empire still affects, evoking the idea of a second chapter destined to overcome in all the predecessor. A bold declaration, which however reflects the trust placed in the new course of the franchise.
The title will also offer subtitles in twelve languages - including Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Korean, Japanese and Chinese – confirming its clear international aspirations.
