Lies of P , the videogame set in the world of Pinocchio, has a soulslike soul on its side that seems to recall a classic like Bloodborne .
The game developed by FromSoftware (which you can find on Amazon at a very low price) is certainly one of the most important titles among those that appeared in the past PlayStation generation.
This is why Geoff Keighley confirmed that the game would be one of the star games of the Opening Night Live, considering that everyone has been waiting with curiosity to find out more about this ambitious project.
Now that the game has been confirmed on Game Pass since day-one, IGN US em> via GamesRadar has posted a 12 minute video showing this Bloodborne-like in action.
After wowing the crowds at Gamescom with another great game trailer, Lies of P is back with even more gameplay , this time courtesy of the US editorial team by IGN .
Thanks to the video in question we can take a closer look at the game, which shows the protagonist wandering around in environments full of pitfalls, dodging and battling enemies as well as, of course, die without mercy .
A little below, in the dedicated player, you will find the video of Lies of P :
The backbone of the game will be instantly familiar to anyone who has played Elden Ring and, most importantly, Bloodborne as well as any of the games to the Dark Souls released in recent years.
The movement of the main character, the combat system and even the user interface are all clearly inspired by the works of From, so much so that there are also the classic bonfires here in the form of “Stargazers”.
After all, considering the unconfirmed Bloodborne Remastered and the fact that Bloodborne 2 will not be done at the moment, Lies of P em> seems to be the only viable alternative, although the hope is that the qualities of the game go beyond those of a simple “clone”.
From Gamescom, fans of soulslike have had their teeth, thanks also to a title with an oriental-like atmosphere called Where Wind Meets .
