It could have been predicted a bit but now it’s official: SEGA has launched new LEGO Sonic sets with new characters, scenarios and mechanisms of various kinds.

After the experiment a year ago, which you can always find on Amazon, LEGO and the fastest hedgehog in the world (or at least in video games) are back together.

The announcement of the first set was already a surprise in itself because, although Sonic has never lost too much fame, it was difficult to imagine a LEGO set.

With these new sets, therefore, LEGO Sonic is preparing to follow in the wake of LEGO Super Mario who, in the meantime, had a lot of new brick sets.

Also because, as you can see from the hilarious trailer above, not exactly one LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog set comes out.

SEGA and LEGO have revealed four new sets, all available in just a few months .

Precisely four new sets: Amy’s Animal Rescue Island, Sonic’s Speed ​​Sphere, Tail’s Workshop and Tornado Island and Sonic’s Green Hill Zone Loop Challenge. All of these sets will be available starting on August 1, 2023.

Here are the details of the sets:

• Amy’s Animal Rescue Island: 338-piece set with six characters Amy, Tails, Crabmeat, Picky, Pocky and Flicky and additional accessories for $49.99.
• Sonic’s Speed ​​Sphere: set of 292 pieces, three characters or Sonic, Moto bug Badnik and Flicky and additional accessories for the price of $34.99.
• Tail’s Workshop and Tornado Island: Set of 376 pieces, four characters namely Sonic, Tails, Clucky and Buzz Bombers and additional toy accessories for the price of $39.99.
• Sonic’s Green Hill Zone Loop Challenge: 802-piece set, nine characters namely Sonic, Amy, Flicky, Becky, Pocky, Pecky, Dr. Eggman, Badniks Chopper and Newtron, plus toy accessories additional priced at $99.99.

All the new LEGO Sonic sets will obviously be available for purchase both online on the official store and through all digital and physical retailers.
