Certain Affinity, an independent video game developer known for collaborating on franchises such as Call of Duty and Halo, has laid off a significant number of workers, the latest case – yet another – in the video game industry.\r\nIn a blog post (via GameSpot), CEO Max Hoberman said the video game industry has faced “unprecedented challenges” over the past 12 months and Certain Affinity is not immune to these issues.\r\nIn response, Certain Affinity is laying off workers 25 employees based in the United States.
