Konami renews the sponsorship of the Dana Cup

Konami has announced his return as the main sponsor of the Dana Cup, one of the biggest youth soccer tournaments in the world. The Japanese publisher sponsored the event for the first time last year and confirmed its commitment to supporting the 2018 edition.

The Dana Cup was born in 1982 and is known for being the biggest international youth soccer tournament in the world with 90% of the participating teams coming from countries outside Denmark.

The 2018 edition will see the participation of 25,000 young players between the ages of 11 and 19 who will meet in Denmark on 23 July for a series of fought tournaments that will take place over the course of a week. Over 1,100 teams from 45 different nations across the world will participate in the tournament.

At the same time as the Dana Cup, Konami will manage a series of entertainment areas including a space where an official PES League tournament will take place with numerous and incredible prizes to be won, and an area where players can relax between games and the other playing a preview at PES 2019 â € “one month before its official launch â €” and they will also have the chance to meet Eldridge O’Neil and Alex Alguacil, two of the strongest PES League players.
