Among the games that Annapurna Interactive performed on the virtual stage of her recent Showcase, we saw one that found its release date, literally behind the corner.
As we told you in our complete recap, we refer to Hindsight , which you can get your hands on as early as next 4th August . We are talking about a game that if, like myself, you have loved adventures like What Remains of Edith Finch and Firewatch (you can find it on Instant Gaming ) , could do it for you.
Signed by Joel McDonald , former author of the picturesque Prune , this title literally wants you to play with memories . In this way you will relive the life path of the protagonist, from her birth to today, as she tries to weigh her experiences and, the author anticipates, to decide what is worth keeping with you and what let go .
«Hindsight invites you to proceed slowly and pay attention to the little things left on the street. Put them back together and change your point of view until you find the perfect perspective that will immerse you even more in the past »explains the official description of the game published by Annapurna on the official Steam page, in view of its release.
« Memories and dreams long forgotten rain down from the sky, intertwining. Stay as long as you want, but sooner or later you’ll have to go back to the present ».
You will recall that the fascinating What Remains of Edith Finch was also built on relive some memories related to the setting you were visiting, but in the case of Hindsight and the videos published, it seems that we will be able to move within them and in some way link them to reconstruct the life of the protagonist. / p>
This is a game with a peculiar look and we recommend that you keep an eye on it: we will certainly do it and we will be ready to tell you more.
The release of Hindsight is expected on PC (Steam), iOS and Nintendo Switch on August 4th.
