How much space does God of War Ragnarok take up on PS5? A lot, it seems

The release of God of War Ragnarok is approaching, as it is one of the most anticipated sequels of the year, so much so that now the weight of the game in digital version on PS5 has been announced .

The sequel to the title dated 2018 (which you can also find on Amazon at a low price) will arrive both on Sony’s current-gen console and on PS4 the next 9 November .

Now, after you’ve found out the official pre-load date and expected game duration, it’s time to get ready to make room for your PlayStation 5’s SSDs .

In fact, as reported also by Games Radar , God of War Ragnarok will take up more space on your PS5 than you think .

It seems that God of War Ragnarok can take up a lot of space on your PlayStation 5 console, so if you’re planning on playing it, you’d better not be caught unprepared .

The news comes from an image leaked by the user Twitter ‘lfnoelb ‘, who posted a download image of God of War Ragnarok showing a well 118.5 GB installation.

The shot – viewable a little further down – appears to come from an early access code, but it is worth pointing out that at the moment there is no official confirmation from Sony or Santa Monica Studios.

This is a huge leap in size compared to the first chapter of the adventures of Kratos and son, which was only 45 GB (that would be more than double). This suggests that the increase in file size is closely related to significant visual improvements .

Staying on topic, and awaiting the game’s review, the epic Norse journey of Kratos and Atreus from Ragnarok is about to invade the shelves with a new PS5 bundle.

But that’s not all: don’t forget to pre-order the new GOW Ragnarok-themed DualSense controller, available in limited edition before it ends at GameStop!
