Ghost of Tsushima arrived on PC from May 16th, i.e. yesterday.\r\nPlayStation had declared that it wanted to invest further within the PC ecosystem, and the news of the PC porting of Ghost of Tsushima has in fact not surprised no one.\r\nWe remind you that the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut (find the PS5 version on Amazon) includes the full game, the Iki Island expansion and the cooperative online multiplayer Legends mode.\r\nNow, via Push Square, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut achieved Sony’s fourth-biggest launch on PC, with a peak of 57,934 users playing the game at any time yesterday.\r\nAlthough this statistic cannot be used To read the actual sales numbers on PC, it’s clear that players were hooked on Sucker Punch Productions’ title on release day.\r\nOnly Helldivers 2, God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered recorded higher numbers of concurrent players.\r\nThe top 10 highest concurrent player counts of all Sony ports for PS5, PS4 and PC are as follows:\r\n\r\nHelldivers 2 – 458,709\r\nGod of War – 73,529\r\nMarvel’s Spider-Man Remastered – 66,436\r\nGhost of Tsushima Director’s Cut – 57,934\r\nHorizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition – 56,557\r\nHorizon Forbidden West Complete Edition – 40,462\r\nThe Last of Us Part I – 34,496\r\nDays Gone – 27,450\r\nMarvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales – 13,539\r\nUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection – 10,851\r\n\r\nIt seems unlikely that anyone will be able to beat the record set by Helldivers 2, but it is certainly heartening to see Ghost of Tsushima there near the top, also considering the problems of recent days which have seen it removed from some stores.\r\nWe will therefore see if this PC version will be an appetizer for the reveal of Ghost of Tsushima 2, which has been talked about for many months now.
