Horizon Zero Dawn has finally solved an issue it had been carrying around since launch on PC

Horizon Zero Dawn did not have one of the most peaceful launches of recent years on PC, and Guerrilla Games is the developer of the Virtuos Games port they know it well.

It is for this reason that, since the summer, updates have been arriving to fix this or that bug found and reported by users.

Until now, however, a problem was still present from day one, without there being an explanation or solution to solve it.

This is the anisotropic filter which, for some reason, was not working properly and not detecting changes made.

This means that, by activating it after installing update 1.07 , players will finally be able to fully benefit from it, enjoying a much cleaner image.

Another tweak was the elimination of the long loading on first boot , which was used to optimize shaders.

This process will now be carried out in the background, making entry into the title much less traumatic.

Horizon Zero Dawn will still receive updates on PC but with this latest update it has certainly taken an important step towards closing a troubled launch.

If you don’t have a gaming PC but want to recover Guerrilla Games’ action RPG, you can make Horizon Zero Dawn your own for PS4 at a discounted price.
