Arrowhead continues to experiment with new ways to involve the Helldivers 2 community in the ever-changing destiny of its game universe, with the intention of making players the true protagonists of the story.\r\nThe surprising PS5 exclusive (which you can find on Amazon) turned out to be one of the biggest surprise successes of 2024, thanks above all to a fun gameplay that encourages its users to collaborate towards a single goal: to defend democracy controlled by the threats of the galaxy.\r \nThe developers have already admitted that they want to make Helldivers 2 “the best live service you’ve ever played”, but to achieve this you also need courageous choices: one of these was made in the last few hours, with the latest orders being particularly ambitious.\r \nAs reported by PCGamesN, the game master is asking us to choose which planet to liberate first, offering the possibility of also trying two new stratagems: anti-tank mines and an airburst rocket launcher.\r\nBased on the planet that will be released first, Helldivers 2 will reward players with that specific stratagem, which means that the other power-up will for all intents and purposes be removed from the game.\r\nA decidedly out-of-the-ordinary choice, which is obviously already causing discussion in the community : fans are in fact divided between those who appreciate such a decisive choice and those who underline that, in fact, this will make it impossible to access game content after the orders are resolved.\r\nThe community manager nevertheless intervened on the server Official Discord, underlining that Arrowhead is listening to community feedback as always and that this is an experiment from which it will “learn” for the future, regardless of how the challenge ends. Which, in this regard, seems very likely to end in favor of the airburst rocket launcher.\r\nThe feedback could even convince the developers to one day increase the game teams, leading Helldivers 2 teams to exceed 4 players . However, if it ever happens, it will be in a very distant day.\r\nAccording to some rumors, Helldivers 2 could even arrive on Xbox, after Phil Spencer had revealed that he wanted to see the PlayStation exclusive on his console.
